ABOUT THE PROCESS
We have been doing this for a long time, and if there is one thing we know, it’s that stress does not make for great results. Whether its a shoot, an edit, a live event or an animated production, the process should be a smooth one, filled with excitement about the outcome.
That’s why communication is so important. The more we know about you and what you’re looking for, the better we can assist you in your production. Once we have an understanding of your needs, we’ll provide you with a proposal or quote. If accepted, pre-production begins! This will involve scheduling and mapping out how the production will proceed.
Next we arrive with the camera crew and direct the shoot to get the best results from our time together.
Then we get underway with post-production. Subject to the scope of the project, the time it takes may vary from days to weeks to months. When ready, you’ll be sent a review link where you can request changes, make comments or provide feedback.
Once you are happy with the content of the pieces, we do final tweaks like audio mixing, colour grading, sometimes we might adjust aspect ratio to suit your posting needs and voila! Your video is ready for use.
THINGS WE MIGHT ASK YOU
Below we’ve outlined some of the more common questions we might ask you:
Who is your audience? Who are we targeting with this video? Potential customers, investors, buyers, local community, it’s important we speak to the right audience in the right tone.
What do you want your video to say or do? Is it to create enquiry, to share knowledge and educate, is it a hard sell of a product or service? Video can serve so many purposes so it’s important for us to know what your ideal outcome is.
Where will your audience see your video? There are so many ways for video to be shared. YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, EDMs, Vimeo, web pages, in-store, TVCs, Cinema Advertising. Here at Endframe we create the content, but you need to consider how you will use or share it.
Which aspect ratios will you need your content in? With so many ways to share video, why not optimise it to suit your platform. It’s good to know before we shoot if you would like some of your content edited into a vertical or square format as sometimes, this can dictate the way we shoot. Don’t worry though, anything is possible, but its just something to think about. And if the idea of aspect ratios is confusing, this video might help.
THINGS YOU MIGHT ASK US
Here are some of the more common questions we get asked:
Will you give me the interview questions before the shoot? Because we like to approach all our interviews in a very conversational style, we don’t provide questions before hand. But don’t worry, it’s a conversation, not an interrogation. We will let you know the kind of things we will talk about during the interview but as a general rule of thumb, no, we do not provide questions before the shoot.
Will you provide Hair and Make Up services? Hair and Make Up is not a standard inclusion in our shoots but we can definitely organise it for you.
What should I wear? Unless you have a specific look in mind, the most important thing is that we want you to be yourself. It’s always a great idea to have a few options of clothing, so we can mix it up a bit, some light some dark. It could even be as simple as a jacket to put over your outfit to change up the shot a bit. Generally speaking, solid colours work best, also always good to avoid anything where a brand or logo is clearly visible.
What if I make mistakes or am terrible in front of the camera? We get this one a lot and the answer is simple - editing! We are there to craft the best story, and you can trust that our highly skilled editors will use the best clips and footage to make sure you look and sound great.
Am I allowed to make changes to the video? Absolutely! We send through drafts for approval and most projects go through about two or three rounds of changes before we get to a final result.
